Florida Responsible Beverage Alcohol Service Refresher Course On-Premise
This course provides you with all the necessary knowledge and techniques you need to be a responsible server of alcohol. Specifically, you will learn: how to protect yourself and your establishment from liability; how alcohol affects your customers; how to recognize the effects of alcohol on your customers; how to prevent customers from becoming intoxicated; how to intervene when you need to cut someone off; how to prevent and deal with disturbances, and; how to accurately check IDs and recognize minors.

Responsible Beverage Alcohol Service – Alcohol Seller/Server (FL)
Florida has various laws regulating the legal age an individual needs to be to consume, sell, or serve alcoholic beverages and other regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. The Florida alcohol seller program has been designed based on meetings of representatives from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, the Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Orange County Community Corrections and the Florida Safety Council. The course meets the requirement of the Orange County Pretrial Diversion Program for persons charged with the offense of selling, giving, or serving alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age.

This course is approximately 3 hours in length and provides you with all the necessary knowledge and techniques you need to be a responsible server of alcohol. Although training is not mandatory, it can significantly reduce the risk and liability associated with alcohol service. Our certification provides a “reasonable efforts” defense against service violations and civil claims, and it may also reduce your insurance premium costs.

State Approved: The Responsible Beverage Alcohol Service Refresher Courses are approved for use in Florida. The Alcohol Seller/Server program is NOT approved for use in Florida per The Responsible Vendor Act. This course may be taken for insurance purposes as instructed by your employer.
